Dwayne has worked in the strategic planning and development of brand identity, media, marketing and communications for 30 years, leading image-defining engagements for global organizations. As founder and president, Dwayne oversees all aspects of our engagements, from planning and research to strategic consulting, brand building and evaluation. Prior to founding ScientificBrands, Dwayne served as Director of Marketing and Communications at the Child Mind Institute. In just four years, he accelerated growth by 400% across KPIs, dramatically increasing brand engagement, raising monthly website visits to 1.8 million, and establishing the brand on the national and international stage. In 1995, Dwayne founded IridiumGroup and for 20 years led global brand building initiatives and flagship campaigns and initiatives for the American Red Cross, Mellon Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Simons Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, United Nations, Accenture and LexisNexis, among others.

Yi Son leads the visual identity development and creative application of strategic, integrated brand communication systems at ScientificBrands. Yison’s deep experience with such leading brands as Hyundai, Merrill Lynch, Heath Lambert, Sport England and Imperial College enable her to bring core principles and messages to life through best-in-field creative development and strategic execution. Yison earned a MA in Communication Design from Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.

Bruce is a brand strategist and writer who has helped Fortune 100s, national nonprofits and leading institutions tell their stories in ways that create lasting impact. With 25 years in the Boston and New York City agency and nonprofit worlds, Bruce has seen first-hand the power of purposeful branding and communications to drive lasting change for clients as diverse as Liberty Mutual, Stanley Black & Decker, Columbia Business School, NYU Steinhardt, NYU Langone Medical Center, Bloomberg Philanthropies and Humanities Kansas. Raised in India, Israel and the US, Bruce brings a cross-cultural perspective to his work that inspires fresh thinking and inventive solutions. Bruce has served as principal of Cause, Director of Marketing and Communications at the Child Mind Institute, Managing Director of NYC’s innovative Suka Creative and as a content strategist at Siegel+Gale.

Harry has 12 years of nonprofit communications experience in public education, brand marketing, press and publications. Before joining ScientificBrands, he served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Child Mind Institute, where he led the organization’s communications strategy, messaging, and marketing efforts including managing clinical marketing and content development. He has deep experience working with executives to set external messages, leverage, and connect through speeches and narrative prose. He is a proven collaborator with foundation, corporate, and media partners such as the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Morgan Stanley, and Verizon. Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute, Harry worked at the pioneering online news site Newser. Harry has a BA in the History and Literature of America from Harvard University and is pursuing a Masters of Public Health at the CUNY School of Public Health.

Janese oversees business practices and operations across all ScientificBrands engagements. With two decades of experience on both the agency and client side, Janese manages engagements from strategy development and operational efficiency to delivery and evaluation. She has served a wide array of clients including Accenture, the Pew Charitable Trusts, Simons Foundation, and the UN Federal Credit Union. Janese holds a B.A. from Baruch College with a concentration in marketing management, and is currently working towards a Master of Science in Strategic Design for Global Leadership at the New School — Parsons.

Ezra brings 25 years of digital development expertise to his work leading strategic digital transformation and the development of a robust online presence for our clients. As owner of LucidCircus, Ezra has created purposeful and effective websites, SaaS, mobile apps and suites of digital tools, translating the potential of digital communications into engaging, fully realized interactions. He leads our team and bench of specialists to conceptualize and then build impactful solutions. He has led work for such clients as Google, MTV, Deloitte, DirectTV, HBO, and AOL.

Claire brings nearly 20 years of experience as a film and TV producer and director to her work as a strategist and videographer. With a focus on nonprofits and deep experience with numerous New York production companies, Claire has created documentaries and best-in-field short-form videos that raise awareness, change hearts and minds, and raise funds. As a founder of Kicker Media, Claire has led video work for the Child Mind Institute, the Simons Foundation, Mount Sinai Health System, and 1199SEIU among many others. Claire earned an MFA in Screenwriting from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University and her BA in Communications from Howard University, Washington DC.

Francesca brings over 10 years of experience in partner marketing and project management across diverse industries. She specializes in account management, marketing, cause marketing, project management and campaign strategy. Francesca has spent most of her career focused in the nonprofit and healthcare industries with such clients as Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation where she collaborated with an array of corporations and organizations on their philanthropic campaigns. Francesca holds a BA in Corporate Communications from Penn State University.

Stacie is a public relations professional with more than 20 years experience in marketing strategy, public and media relations, executive communications and internal communications. She began her career as a field producer and weekend assignment editor at KCOP in Hollywood, California, and later joined Ketchum Public Relations managing technology and financial brands. In the early 2000s, she transitioned to high-tech, holding senior-level marketing and communications positions at Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and Siebel Systems in Silicon Valley. She also worked for the global travel nonprofit Road Scholar, managing public relations, advertising and events worldwide. Stacie’s work has earned billions of media impressions in such outlets as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Washington Post, O Magazine, ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN.

Abby has more than 20 years of experience in the editorial and advertising industries with an emphasis on production. For ScientificBrands, Abby manages the execution of client-approved deliverables. Prior to ScientificBrands, while at IridiumGroup, Abby produced initiatives for our global corporate clients, including brands such as Accenture, UNFCU, and the Simons Foundation. Abby’s previous experience includes production management for Jeff McKay, Inc., and assistant to the creative director of Essence Magazine. He is a graduate of F.I.T.

Brian Miller is an award-winning, executive creative director with experience developing digital branding strategies for emerging startups, organizations and Fortune 500 companies. A best-selling author of the landmark book Above the Fold, Brian literally wrote the book on the process of Web design used in universities, agencies and companies across the world.
