Dwayne has worked in the strategic planning and development of brand identity, media, marketing and communications initiatives for 30 years, leading image-defining engagements for global organizations. As founder and president, Dwayne oversees all aspects of our engagements, from planning and research to strategic consulting, brand building and evaluation.
Prior to founding ScientificBrands, Dwayne served as Director of Marketing and Communications at the Child Mind Institute. In just three years, he accelerated growth by 400% across KPIs, dramatically increasing brand engagement, raising monthly website visits to 1.8 million, and establishing the brand on the national and international stage. In 1995, Dwayne founded IridiumGroup and for 20 years led global brand building initiatives and flagship campaigns for the Mellon Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Simons Foundation, the United Nations, American Red Cross, the Nature Conservancy, Accenture and LexisNexis, among others.
Bruce is a brand strategist and writer who has helped Fortune 100s, national nonprofits and leading institutions tell their stories in ways that create lasting impact. With 25 years in the Boston and New York City agency and nonprofit worlds, Bruce has seen first-hand the power of purposeful branding and communications to drive lasting impact for clients as diverse as Liberty Mutual, Stanley Black & Decker, Columbia Business School, NYU Steinhardt, NYU Langone Medical Center, Bloomberg Philanthropies and Humanities Kansas. Raised in India, Israel and the US, Bruce brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to his work that inspires fresh thinking and inventive, equitable solutions. Bruce has served as principal of Cause, Director of Marketing and Communications at the Child Mind Institute, Managing Director of NYC’s innovative Suka Creative and as a content strategist at Siegel+Gale.
Yi Son leads visual identity development and creative application of strategic, integrated brand communication systems. Yison’s deep experience with such leading brands as Hyundai, Merrill Lynch, Heath Lambert, Sport England and Imperial College enable her to bring core principles and messages to life through best-in-field creative development and execution. Yison earned a MA in Communication Design from Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.
Danielle Cormier-Smith is a strategic communications and PR veteran with more than 20 years of experience leading communications efforts for startups, Fortune 500 brands and organizations within agencies and corporate teams. She is also well-versed in launching startups, products and solutions, spearheading funding announcements, reputation management, change management, and cause marketing campaigns to benefit local and national nonprofits. Her diverse experience includes managing communications programs for Oracle, Medtronic, Novartis, Bank of America, LexisNexis, the Pennsylvania State University, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Glaucoma Research Foundation and the Charles Bronfman Prize.
Francesca brings over 10 years of experience in partner marketing across several industries. She specializes in account management, marketing, cause marketing, project management and campaign strategy. She has spent the majority of her career focused in the non-profit/healthcare industry at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation where she collaborated with an array of corporations and organizations on their philanthropic campaigns. Francesca holds a degree in Corporate Communications from Penn State University.
Bob leads strategy and planning for digital advertising and brand management, with a focus on pay per click ads. With 15 years of digital marketing experience, Bob specializes in search engine technology, keyword research, copywriting and website analytics to bring marketing fundamentals and a clear understanding of business objectives that translate campaign goals into actionable leads. He has led work with clients as diverse as Yale University, Wellington Management, Concert Pharmaceuticals, Northeastern University, Baystate Urgent Care, Glenmede, Emulate Bio, and Deciphera Pharmaceuticals.
With 20 years in the industry, Dan manages digital marketing with an e-commerce focus for ScientificBrands. He has led strategic planning initiatives to build awareness and engagement, and led digital brand management initiatives. Dan has worked on digital marketing for numerous brands, including Coca-Cola, Cannondale Bicycles, Waterworks, KitchenAid, Crayola, Hershey, Conair, Cuisinart, Krups, DIAGEO/Guinness, Casio/G-Shock, Nikon and Clorox/Brita.
Brian Miller is an award-winning, executive-level creative director with experience developing digital branding strategies for emerging startups and Fortune 500 organizations. He has a long track record of delivering strong results that both build equity and drive revenue for clients, all with an eye toward efficiency balanced with excellence. A best-selling author of Above the Fold, Brian wrote the book on the process of Web design used in universities across the country.
Janese oversees business practices and operational efficiencies across all internal and external initiatives. Her experience on both agency and client side enables Janese to manage engagements from strategy development to reviewing KPIs to working with our clients and teams to ensure alignment of vision, development and delivery. Prior to joining ScientificBrands, Janese served as brand marketing manager at Evercore Wealth Management and Evercore Trust Company. Previously, she was vice president of operations and general manager at IridiumGroup, leading work for such clients as Accenture, LexisNexus, Pew Charitable Trusts, Simons Foundation, and the UN Federal Credit Union. Janese holds a B.A. from Baruch College with a concentration in marketing management.
